We are seeking an Sr Automation engineer/Lead with deep expertise in Playwright with TypeScript to lead the automation strategy, framework design, and implementation for our projects.

The candidate will define automation best practices, guide the team, and ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable test automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.

- Define automation strategy, standards, and best practices for functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Collaborate with QA, Development, and Product teams to identify automation opportunities and design robust solutions.

- Architect scalable and maintainable test automation solutions integrated with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level automation engineers in framework development and test script implementation.

- Perform code reviews and enforce coding and automation quality standards.

- Analyze automation coverage, identify gaps, and optimize test strategy.

- Ensure proper integration of API, UI, and end-to-end test scenarios.

- Drive continuous improvement in test automation efficiency, reliability, and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 to 4 years in automation leadership/architect role.

- Strong expertise in Playwright with TypeScript.

- Deep knowledge of testing frameworks, test design patterns, and automation architecture.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.

- Excellent mentoring and team leadership skills.

- Experience with API testing and salesforce testing.

- Knowledge of test management tools and reporting dashboards.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin).

- Experience in performance testing and non-functional testing automation.
