We are looking for a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in Windows Forms (WinForms) automation testing, API testing, and test automation framework design.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with automation tools for .NET desktop applications, along with the ability to lead QA initiatives, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end quality assurance activities across WinForms, web, and API applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for desktop, web, and API testing.
- Automate Windows Forms applications using tools such as FlaUI, WinAppDriver, Squish, TestComplete, or equivalent.
- Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, UI, API, and performance test suites.
- Perform API automation and validation using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Conduct load and performance testing to validate application scalability and reliability.
- Create SQL scripts for data validation and backend testing.
- Review test strategies, automation coverage, and quality metrics to ensure high software quality.
- Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and release validation activities.
- Mentor QA engineers and establish testing standards, best practices, and automation guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
Required Skills:
- 810 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience in WinForms automation testing.
- Expertise in API Testing, Web Testing, UI Testing, and Automation Framework Design.
- Experience with FlaUI, WinAppDriver, Squish, TestComplete, or similar automation tools for .NET desktop applications.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and API automation tools.
- Experience with load and performance testing tools.
- Good knowledge of SQL for data validation and test data creation.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- Exposure to C#/.NET applications and Windows desktop technologies.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or other test management tools.
- Experience in performance monitoring and quality metrics reporting.
Leadership Skills:
- Proven experience leading QA teams and driving automation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote quality engineering best practices.
