NatWest - Software Engineer - AI/ML Models

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-driven solutions.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of software engineering and machine learning, building intelligent systems that solve real-world problems and enhance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain AI/ML models and integrate them into production systems.

- Build scalable backend services and APIs to support AI functionalities.

- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Optimize model performance, accuracy, and efficiency through continuous evaluation and improvement.

- Implement data pipelines for preprocessing, training, and inference workflows.

- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.

- Monitor deployed models and systems, addressing issues related to performance, bias, and reliability.

- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and software engineering.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

- Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies like Docker.

- Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with NLP, computer vision, or generative AI models.

- Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools.

- Exposure to big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
