Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Middleware Administrator to manage and maintain critical applications. This role requires extensive hands-on expertise with various middleware technologies, strong operating system knowledge, familiarity with DevOps tools, and practical experience in incident and change management. You will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance, and stability of our application infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain a wide array of application servers, specifically demonstrating extensive hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, and JBOSS.

- Perform installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of middleware components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

- Apply strong working knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems for system administration, scripting, and issue resolution related to middleware environments.

- Utilize and apply familiarity with DevOps tools, including but not limited to Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline support and Git for version control, to streamline application deployments and configurations.

- Engage in practical incident management, diagnosing and resolving production issues related to middleware and applications quickly to minimize downtime.

- Participate actively in change management processes, ensuring controlled and documented deployments, configurations, and upgrades to middleware components.

- Monitor application and middleware performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks or issues.

- Collaborate with development, operations, and other IT teams to support application deployments, migrations, and infrastructure enhancements.

- Develop and maintain clear technical documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Qualifications :

- 8+ years of relevant experience in Middleware Administration or a similar role.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, and JBOSS.

- Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.

- Familiarity with DevOps tools, including Jenkins and Git.

- Practical, proven experience in incident management and change management processes.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex middleware and application issues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various teams.
