Position Title : JD Edwards Technical Consultant

Experience : 7 - 10 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled JD Edwards Technical Consultant with extensive experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.x or above implementations and upgrades.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical development, customization, data conversion, and interface development using JD Edwards tools and frameworks.

This role requires a proactive consultant who can collaborate with functional teams, manage multiple workstreams, and ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.x or above implementation and upgrade projects.

- Perform technical development activities, including customizations, retrofits, data conversions, and interface development.

- Work with JDE technical tools such as OMW, RDA, TDA, FDA, Visual Compare, FRW, TCs, BI Publisher.

- Utilize BSFN and BSSV for business functions and web services; knowledge of Orchestrator and Groovy scripting is a plus.

- Translate and map business requirements into technical specifications with clear documentation.

- Develop and test technical solutions ensuring adherence to JDE development standards and methodologies.

- Collaborate with functional teams to conduct business process testing across modules.

- Manage project timelines, work assignments, and coordinate testing cycles including CRP/iCRP/UAT.

- Ensure smooth delivery of solutions through effective communication, quality assurance, and issue resolution.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of IT experience, with recent focus on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (preferably version 9.1 or above).

- Hands-on experience with JDE technical tools OMW, RDA, TDA, FDA, Visual Compare, FRW, TCs, and BI Publisher.

- Strong expertise in customization, retrofit, data conversion, and integration development.

- In-depth knowledge of E1 development methods, standards, and best practices.

- Proven experience in at least one full-cycle JDE implementation or upgrade project.

- Excellent understanding of project management principles, documentation, and technical design.

- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, and SharePoint.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Oracle / JD Edwards certification.

- 23 years of onsite experience in a consulting or client-facing role.

- Exposure to Orchestrator and Groovy scripting.

- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
