Job Overview :
We're looking for an experienced IBM DataPower Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of hands-on experience with IBM DataPower XI52 and XG45 devices, possessing a strong understanding of secure gateway patterns and comprehensive knowledge of web service protocols. You'll be responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing DataPower solutions to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable message mediation and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
DataPower Configuration & Support :
- Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for DataPower-related issues in production and non-production environments.
Security & Gateway Patterns :
- Configure AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) policies, leveraging OAuth2, SAML, and LDAP for robust security.
- Manage certificate and key management processes within DataPower.
Protocol Mediation & Transformation :
- Develop complex XSLT and GatewayScript transformations for data mapping and enrichment.
Integration :
- Optimize DataPower services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Development Practices :
- Familiarity with deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines for DataPower configurations.
Documentation & Collaboration :
- Collaborate effectively with development teams, architects, and operations personnel.
Required Skills & Experience :
Experience : 4-8 years of hands-on experience in IBM DataPower XI52 and XG45 configuration and support.
- Strong understanding of secure gateway patterns, XML threat protection, protocol mediation, and service hardening.
- Deep knowledge of SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, XSLT, XSD, WSDL, XPath, and GatewayScript.
- Hands-on experience with AAA policies, OAuth2, SAML, and LDAP.
- PKI : Experience with certificate and key management processes.
- Solid experience integrating with IBM MQ, IIB/ACE, or other middleware solutions.
- Good troubleshooting skills, including the ability to analyze logs and trace flows to resolve runtime issues.
- Familiarity with version control (Git/SVN) and deployment automation (CI/CD).
Soft Skills : Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
