Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, automation, and containerized environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions while leveraging automation technologies and best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud architectures and ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Management :

- Design, deploy, and manage AWS-based cloud environments following industry best practices.

- Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) automation.

- Configure and manage Rancher/RKE2 and AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.

- Deploy, monitor, and optimize workloads in Docker or Podman container environments.

Automation & DevOps :

- Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure and application deployments.

- Integrate cloud solutions into CI/CD pipelines for streamlined application delivery.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python for cloud API integrations and operational workflows.

Monitoring & Logging :

- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana (preferred), and the ELK Stack to ensure application performance, system health, and incident response.

- Set up proactive alerts and dashboards for critical cloud infrastructure components.

Security & Governance :

- Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and corporate policies.

- Implement IAM roles, policies, and guardrails for secure multi-user environments.

- Participate in audits, risk assessments, and remediation processes.

Collaboration & Support :

- Partner with development, QA, and operations teams to design scalable, high-availability architectures.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and deployment issues.

- Provide technical guidance to team members and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- AWS Expertise : 5- 8 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud environments, including core services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).

- Automation Skills : Proficiency in Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible for infrastructure automation.

- Kubernetes & Containers : Working knowledge of Rancher/RKE2, AWS EKS, and containerization with Docker/Podman.

- Monitoring & Logging : Experience with Prometheus, Grafana (preferred), and ELK Stack.

- OS Skills : Working knowledge of Linux/Unix and/or Windows operating systems.

Soft Skills : Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities with the capability to work under pressure.
