Job Summary :

We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Active Directory & Exchange Lead with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Infrastructure, ready for immediate joining. This role requires deep technical expertise in managing and troubleshooting complex on-premises and cloud environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Exchange Server (2016/2019)/Exchange Online. The lead will be responsible for maintaining operational health, executing patch management, remediating security vulnerabilities, and providing 24x7 support.

Key Responsibilities :

Active Directory & Exchange Operations :

- Lead daily health checks of Exchange & AD servers, including monitoring disk space, mail queues, backup status, and critical alerts.

- Perform mandatory patch management on all Microsoft Exchange servers and Active Directory Domain Controllers.

- Drive efforts to remediate the vulnerabilities identified on Exchange and AD Servers, ensuring a hardened security posture.

- Manage the Administration of AD DNS servers and maintain accurate internal DNS record management.

- Manage and report on shared folder management using tools like Varonics.

Advanced Troubleshooting and Automation :

- Troubleshoot complex issues related to message tracking, message delivery, Non-Delivery Reports (NDRs), and quarantine management.

- Create or modify transport rules and implement custom mail forwarding requirements within the Exchange environment.

- Utilize Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation across AD, Exchange, and Azure AD tasks to enhance operational efficiency.

- Work effectively on Incidents, Service Requests, and Changes in the ServiceNow portal within defined SLAs.

- Demonstrate the ability to work independently on finding Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical breakdowns.

Compliance and Reporting :

- Prepare various detailed reports and documentation (e.g., AD and Exchange related reports, MIS) as per management requirements.

- Work with vendors on complex technical issues and fixing system breakdowns.

- Support junior team members in shift operations and act as a strong team player.

Required Technical Skills :

Windows & AD Core :

- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2008 R2, 2012, 2016) and core Active Directory services.

- Mandatory familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, and DirSync.

- Understanding of core services : PKI, DNS, DHCP, and security patching methodologies.

Messaging :

- Deep expertise in Exchange Server (2016/2019) and Exchange Online.

- Knowledge of mail protocols : SMTP, IMAP, POP3.

- Experience with email security tools (anti-spam, anti-malware).

Scripting & Automation :

- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation (Mandatory).

Migration & Other :

- Experience with Quest Migration Manager and other AD migration tools.

- Familiarity with UNIX and Windows OS management concepts.
