Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 4-7 years of hands-on experience to drive digital transformation and cybersecurity innovation for a leading healthcare technology services organization. This role requires a Certified Application Developer (CAD) or System Administrator (CSA), who will be critical in building, configuring, and optimizing custom applications within a dedicated ServiceNow instance.

The Developer will leverage REST/SOAP integrations, deep knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, and expertise in modules like CMDB, ITSM, and ITOM to enhance automation, cyber risk management, and operational excellence for medical device connectivity.

Job Description :

ServiceNow Application Development and Configuration :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of custom applications and modules within a dedicated ServiceNow instance, mirroring and extending functionality from the enterprise instance to support key operational and cybersecurity functions.

- Implement and optimize platform components, including scripting complex business logic using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and workflow automation using the Flow Designer and traditional workflow editor.

- Ensure the scalability and performance of all developed solutions, applying a strong ability to translate functional requirements into high-quality, high-performing technical solutions.

- Maintain and configure core platform components and databases, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to support asset and cyber risk management.

Integration and Technical Architecture :

- Develop and maintain robust, secure integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems and data sources, utilizing mandatory protocols such as REST, SOAP, or MID Server integrations.

- Apply a strong, technical understanding of overall ServiceNow architecture, data models, and platform capabilities, ensuring new developments align with best practices and future upgrade paths.

- Leverage functional knowledge of key modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM) for service reliability and IT Operations Management (ITOM) for enhanced visibility into the cloud-based application ecosystem (Azure focus).

- Contribute to a modern, cloud-based application ecosystem that directly supports medical device connectivity and comprehensive cyber risk management within a healthcare context.

Methodology and Collaboration :

- Work effectively within Agile delivery models, collaborating with distributed global teams (onshore/offshore) throughout the sprint cycle.

- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and deployment activities, ensuring code quality, documentation, and smooth migration between environments.

- Partner with Business Analysts and Process Owners to refine requirements and ensure the delivered solutions provide maximum visibility, automation, and performance improvement across the platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- Mandatory 4-7 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and configuration.

Development Skills :

- Proven ability to build and maintain custom applications, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and workflows within the platform.

Integration Expertise :

- Mandatory experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, or MID Server integrations.

Architecture :

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, CMDB, ITSM, and ITOM modules.

Methodology :

- Familiarity with Agile delivery models and experience collaborating with distributed global teams.

Problem Solving :

- Ability to translate functional requirements into scalable, high-quality technical solutions.

Education :

- Mandatory B. E / B. Tech / MCA.

Preferred Skills :

Certification :

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or System Administrator (CSA) certification is highly preferred.

Scripting :

- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (server-side and client-side) within the ServiceNow platform.

Cloud Integration :

- Experience integrating ServiceNow with Azure cloud environments and services.

DevOps :

- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices for ServiceNow development (e.g., using source control, automated testing).

Security Modules :

- Familiarity with ServiceNow GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) or Security Operations (SecOps) modules.
