About the Role :


We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Engineer to join our team and contribute to developing cutting-edge medical device software. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in embedded systems development within the medical domain, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working with real time operating systems and specific tools like SAPPHIRE.


Key Responsibilities :


- Develop, maintain, and enhance embedded software for medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


- Prepare and maintain detailed project plans and schedules; monitor project execution and manage the development team effectively.


- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, testing, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality software solutions.


- Manage and communicate project status, risks, and issues proactively with stakeholders.


- Participate actively in the design, implementation, and testing phases of the software development lifecycle.


- Adhere strictly to coding standards, safety regulations, and relevant industry standards applicable to

medical software development.


- Prepare and review unit verification protocols and unit test records to ensure comprehensive test coverage.


- Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and documentation updates throughout the development phases.


- Participate in peer reviews of documents and code to maintain quality and compliance.


- Conduct safety risk analysis and contribute to risk mitigation strategies for software components.


- Build software deliverables, troubleshoot and fix defects during development and testing phases.


Must-Have Skills & Experience :


- 5 to 10 years of experience in embedded software development.


- Strong expertise in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.


- Hands-on experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).


- Proficiency with SAPPHIRE tool for embedded development and testing.


- Prior experience working in the medical device domain or healthcare technology industry, with a clear understanding of regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304).


- Solid understanding of embedded software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and validation.


- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.


- Ability to work independently and lead small teams effectively.


- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
