Mygo Consulting - SAP Basis Consultant

Job Summary :

The consultant will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, monitoring, and support of SAP environments across development, testing, and production landscapes, ensuring high system availability and performance in a secure and scalable manner.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and maintain SAP systems in high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) environments.

- Manage and optimize cloud-hosted SAP landscapes (AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud).

- Monitor system performance and take proactive action to ensure optimal operation and system uptime.

- Perform user administration, transport management, and authorization role maintenance.

- Plan and execute system copies, backups, and restores.

- Manage SAP Router configuration, OSS connectivity, and early watch alerts.

- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP BASIS related issues and work with cross-functional teams.

- Maintain up-to-date system documentation, procedures, and change logs.

- Participate in patch management, system audits, and compliance activities.

- Support SAP integrations with third-party systems and middleware.

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience in HA configuration, cluster setup, and system failover mechanisms.

- Experience with cloud infrastructure AWS, Azure, or GCP (any one or more).

- Proficiency in Transport Management System (TMS) and Change Request Management (ChaRM).

- Experience with SAP NetWeaver, Solution Manager, and system monitoring tools.

- Knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) and database systems (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL, DB2).

- Understanding of backup strategies, system copies, and recovery procedures.

- Familiarity with SAP security concepts, roles, profiles, and user administration.

Qualifications :

- SAP BASIS certification (preferred but not mandatory).

- 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration including high availability systems and cloud-based SAP architecture.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to support off-hours or on-call rotation if needed
