Role Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement custom ABAP programs, function modules, enhancements, BADIs, and User Exits.

- Collaborate with SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI teams for integration scenarios using synchronous/asynchronous proxies.

- Work on service-oriented architecture (SOA) using Enterprise Services and Web Services.

- Conduct performance tuning, code optimization, and ensure adherence to SAP development best practices.

- Perform unit testing, support SIT/UAT, and ensure defect resolution.

- Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and support technical reviews.

- Provide production support, root cause analysis, and enhancements as needed.

- Work with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, FI, etc.) for smooth delivery of projects and change requests.

Technical Skills & Tools :

- Strong hands-on experience with ABAP Proxies (Inbound/Outbound) and Web Services (SOAP, REST)

- Experience with ALE/EDI, RFCs, Enhancement Frameworks (BADI/BTE/User Exits)

- Good exposure to SAP NetWeaver Gateway / OData Services (preferred)

- Understanding of Middleware (SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI) to troubleshoot or collaborate on integrations

- Knowledge of debugging integration issues between SAP and third-party systems

- Familiarity with transport management, performance tuning, and code review processes

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of SAP ABAP experience, with minimum 2 years in Proxy development

- Experience working in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments

- Excellent communication and coordination skills

- SAP certifications (ABAP or Integration) are a plus
