MuleSoft Integration Engineer - Anypoint Platform

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Integration Engineer to design, develop, and manage enterprise-grade integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, strong hands-on experience with Kafka-based integrations, and the ability to build scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and active participation in architecture and design decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform

- Build, deploy, and manage Mule ESB flows and APIs for complex system integrations

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and SOAP-based services

- Implement event-driven integrations using Confluent Kafka

- Design and enforce API-led connectivity (System, Process, and Experience APIs)

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand integration requirements

- Perform performance tuning, debugging, and root-cause analysis for integration issues

- Implement security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS, and API policies

- Deploy and manage MuleSoft applications in AWS environments

- Utilize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of integration solutions

- Create technical documentation, integration design documents, and API specifications

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership when required

Mandatory Skills & Technical Expertise :

- 7+ years of overall experience in software or integration development

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft / Mule ESB

- Strong experience with :

- MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Design Center, Runtime Manager, API Manager)

- RESTful APIs and SOAP web services

- Confluent Kafka and event-driven architecture

- Experience hosting and managing Confluent Kafka on AWS

- Strong knowledge of integration patterns and enterprise integration best practices

- Proficiency in data transformation using DataWeave

- Experience with error handling, logging, and monitoring strategies

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and platforms such as :

- Tekton

- Kubernetes (preferred)

- Hands-on experience with Git and version control systems
