Overview :
We are looking for a skilled MuleSoft Developer to join our integration and engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining MuleSoft integrations and APIs. You will work closely with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Build and maintain APIs, flows, and connectors using Mule 4.
- Collaborate with architects to align integration solutions with enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Develop RAML specifications and API contracts using API Designer.
- Configure and manage APIs using API Manager, Anypoint Exchange, and Anypoint Studio.
- Integrate systems through REST, SOAP, database connectors, messaging systems, and SaaS applications.
- Optimize and troubleshoot integration issues related to performance, scalability, and connectivity.
- Ensure integrations follow standards for security, governance, and best practices.
- Create technical documentation including design specifications, mappings, and deployment instructions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for integration deployment (e.g., Maven, Jenkins, Git).
- Provide production support and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 25+ years of experience working with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Strong experience in Mule 4, DataWeave, RAML, and API-led connectivity.
- Solid understanding of integration design patterns and best practices.
- Experience working with REST APIs, SOAP services, and various integration protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and CloudHub.
- Good understanding of JSON, XML, XSLT, SQL, and message queues (e.g., JMS, Kafka).
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications :
- MuleSoft Developer Certification (MCDLevel 1 / Level 2).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with enterprise integration in domains like finance, healthcare, or retail.
- Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, security policies, and API governance.
Soft Skills :
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
