About the Role :

We are looking for a hands-on Mulesoft Developer with strong expertise in Mule 4 and solid Java programming skills. The role involves building, optimizing, and maintaining integration flows for enterprise applications using API-led architecture. You will work on mission-critical integration layers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable APIs and integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop Mule 4 integration flows, APIs, and connectors using Anypoint Platform.

- Build high-performance, reusable integrations using DataWeave 2.0, RAML, and API Manager.

- Develop custom Java components to extend Mule capabilities when required.

- Troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations for performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Implement API-led connectivity with proper governance, error handling, and logging frameworks.

- Deploy and manage Mule applications on CloudHub or on-prem runtimes.

- Collaborate with architects and business teams to translate requirements into robust API solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, integrations testing, and release cycles.

Required Experience (4 - 10 Years) :

- Strong mandatory experience in Mulesoft Mule 4 (flows, subflows, event processors, error strategies).

- Mandatory Core Java experience - ability to write utilities, extensions, and custom connectors.

- Hands-on experience with Anypoint Studio, API Designer, API Manager, Runtime Manager.

- Understanding of RAML specifications, API-led architecture, and reusable API fragments.

- Experience integrating with databases, REST/SOAP services, queues, and cloud applications.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Git, Maven, Jenkins) for Mule deployments.

- Experience with Mule 3 is an added advantage (migration exposure is a plus).

- Strong debugging skills, version control experience, and ability to work independently.

Good to Have :

- Experience handling migration projects from Mule 3 to Mule 4.

- Exposure to cloud integration patterns, event-driven architectures, and security frameworks.

- Ability to mentor junior developers (for senior-level applicants).
