Role Overview :

- We are seeking an experienced MS SQL Server Developer responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing databases that power critical business applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving mindset, and hands-on experience managing complex database systems in production environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases as per project specifications.

- Develop, implement, and maintain unit tests for SQL database programs.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance, capacity, and replication issues.

- Design and implement data models and translate them into efficient physical structures.

- Manage database installation, configuration, and software maintenance.

- Ensure robust backup, recovery, and data security mechanisms.

- Develop and maintain database scripts, procedures, and triggers for development teams.

- Manage and coordinate database changes across Development, QA, and Production environments.

- Define and enforce database standards, best practices, and performance metrics.

- Monitor databases for errors, perform proactive performance tuning, and ensure system stability.

- Design and implement highly available, scalable production database systems.

- Configure database network connectivity and ensure smooth integration with applications.

- Document all work clearly to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

- Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively in a team setting.

- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience with MS SQL Server (2016 or later).

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Experience with database design, performance tuning, and optimization.

- Knowledge of backup strategies, recovery procedures, and replication techniques.
