Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced MS Dynamics AX Technical Consultant to support, develop, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 applications within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in AX development, deep understanding of ERP processes, and the ability to work closely with functional and business teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) is an added advantage.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

Technical Development & Customization :

- Design, develop, and implement customizations, extensions, and modifications in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 using X++.

- Build and maintain integrations between AX and external systems.

- Optimize existing AX code and processes for improved performance, scalability, and stability.

- Develop technical components such as forms, reports, workflows, tables, classes, SSRS reports, and data entities.

ERP Support & Maintenance :

- Troubleshoot and resolve AX technical issues, including performance tuning, debugging, and code fixes.

- Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Provide ongoing support for AX modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Production, and Inventory.

- Participate in system upgrades, patch deployments, and environment management activities.

Implementation & Project Delivery :

- Contribute to at least one full lifecycle implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.

- Engage in requirement gathering, gap analysis, and technical design workshops.

- Support data migration activities including data mapping, loading, validation, and reconciliation.

- Assist in creating technical documentation, solution design documents, and test scripts.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, business analysts, developers, and end-users.

- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members when required.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Experience & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 development.

- Strong knowledge of X++ programming, SSRS reporting, AIF, and AX architecture.

- Experience in at least one full lifecycle implementation of Dynamics AX.

- Good understanding of core ERP processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Inventory.

- Experience working with SQL Server, debugging tools, and performance optimization.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O is a plus.

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
