Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer with a minimum of 5 years hands-on D365 F&O development experience to design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise-scale Microsoft ERP solutions. This is a highly technical role focused on the Finance and Operations platform rather than Customer Engagement (CE), requiring extensive expertise in D365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, architecture, integrations, extensions, and Azure-based services.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, customise, and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions using X++, Visual Studio, and Microsoft-recommended extension frameworks.

- Create custom business logic, services, workflows, reports, forms, data entities, batch processes, and integrations.

- Deliver integrations between D365 F&O and external applications using REST APIs, OData, Custom Services, Data Management Framework (DMF), Dual Write, Azure Service Bus, and Electronic Reporting (ER) where appropriate.

- Develop and support Azure integration solutions including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Power Platform integration capabilities.

- Create technical specifications, architecture documentation, and development standards.

- Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and performance optimisation.

- Support CI/CD pipelines, source control, and release management using Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS).

- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations development experience.

- Strong expertise in X++ development within D365 F&O.

- Extensive experience with Extensions and customisations, Data Entities, Security frameworks, Workflows, Batch framework, SSRS reporting, and Electronic Reporting (ER).

- Proven integration experience using OData, RESTful APIs, SOAP services, Azure Integration Services, Dual Write, and Data Management Framework.

- Strong Azure experience including Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Storage Accounts.

- Experience with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, JSON, XML, and API development.

- Strong SQL Server and data analysis skills.

- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, build pipelines, and release automation.

- Excellent technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps Developer Associate certification is good to have.

- Experience in multi-company, multi-country ERP implementations is good to have.

- Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks is good to have.

- Knowledge of Power Platform, Dataverse, and Power Automate integration with D365 F&O is good to have.
