Job Title : D365 F&O Retail Functional Consultant.

Location : Hyderabad (Onsite).

Employment Type : Full-Time.

Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Preferred.

Role Overview :


We are hiring an experienced D365 F&O Retail Functional Consultant to lead and deliver large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce implementations.

The ideal candidate will be client-focused, technically strong in Retail and Commerce, and capable of driving projects from requirement gathering through go-live and hypercare.

Key Responsibilities :


- Lead end-to-end implementation of Dynamics 365 Commerce (Retail) solutions.

- Analyze business processes and translate them into optimized D365 Commerce solutions.

- Create Business Process Workflows, Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and Functional Design Documents (FDD).

- Act as a bridge between clients and technical teams, ensuring clarity in requirements and design.

- Perform and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support deployment activities.

- Plan and manage project timelines, priorities, scope, and risk mitigation.

- Lead store setups, migrations, rollouts, and upgrades.

- Manage MPOS and CPOS configuration, code and fix deployment, and troubleshooting.

- Configure POS hardware including printers, scanners, customer display, and hardware stations.

- Build complete test scenarios, test cases, and validation documents.

- Create end-user documentation and training materials.

- Handle post-go-live support and hypercare operations.

- Collaborate with global teams and guide issue resolution.

- Build and maintain strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.

Required Qualifications & Experience :


- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

- 812 years of experience as a D365 / AX Retail Functional Consultant.

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on expertise in Dynamics 365 Commerce.

- At least four full-cycle implementations of D365 Commerce / AX 2012 Retail.

- Strong understanding of Retail, e-Commerce, Finance, and SCM domains.

- Proven experience in code and fix push to MPOS and CPOS.

- Experience in POS configuration and hardware troubleshooting.

- Experience in store launches, store migrations, and deployments.

- Strong experience in stakeholder management and client communication.

- Expertise in requirements gathering, scope management, and risk and issue resolution.

- Excellent presentation, documentation, and communication skills.

Additional Skills (Good to Have):
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.

- Experience with ERP and third-party system integrations.

- Basic knowledge of SQL querying.

- Understanding of Project Management methodologies.

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail / Commerce Certification preferred.
