Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive end-to-end research initiatives across all stages, including recruitment, participant communications, conducting studies, analyzing results, and creating artifacts to share insights that influence product roadmaps and business decisions in the mortgage and servicing space.

- Ensure research excellence by developing research plans that describe appropriate methodologies, timelines, and alignment with business objectives for mortgage products and digital platforms.

- Create impactful deliverables including screeners, discussion guides, scripts, research reports, customer journey maps, persona documentation, data visualizations, and quantitative summaries tailored to mortgage and financial services contexts.

- Establish research standards by developing and implementing UX research best practices within Mr.
Cooper's product organization and contributing to our research operations framework.

Required Qualifications :

- Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Information Science, or equivalent professional experience.

- Experience: 2 years of proven track record in conducting UX Research to uncover customer insights, identify unmet needs, and inform product development in digital products or financial services.

- Research expertise: Demonstrated experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and analytics.

- Customer advocacy: Ability to empathetically listen, perceive customer needs, deliver an unbiased view of users, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for product and design teams.

- Design literacy: Basic knowledge of effective design principles and understanding of the product development lifecycle.
