MPLS Engineer - IP Routing

Description :

We are looking for an experienced IP Routing MPLS Integration / Migration Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in MPLS networks, L2/L3 VPNs, and routing protocols.

The role involves network deployment, migration, integration, and system testing across large-scale telecom environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform integration, migration, and deployment of IP/MPLS networks

- Configure and troubleshoot L2/L3 VPN services (VLL Epipe, Apipe, Cpipe, QoS, Multicast, BNG)

- Execute system and protocol testing for MPLS networks

- Hands-on configuration of routers and switches via CLI

- Work on MPLS L2/L3 protocol validation and performance testing

- Carry out NE integration, software upload/upgrade, backup & restore using Nokia 5620 SAM

- Monitor, analyze, and interpret network alarms and events

- Collaborate with design, operations, and customer teams during rollout and migration activities

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in IP / MPLS Routing

- L2 & L3 VPNs : VPLS, L3VPN, VLL (Epipe, Apipe, Cpipe)

- Advanced knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, routing & switching, IP-MPLS services

- Expertise in MPLS deployment, migration, and integration

- Routing protocols : Static Routing, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP

- Experience as Protocol / System Test Engineer in MPLS environments

- Hands-on experience with Nokia (Alcatel-Lucent), Cisco, Juniper devices

- Strong CLI configuration and troubleshooting skills

Tools & Platforms :

- Nokia 5620 SAM NE integration, SW upgrade, backups, alarm monitoring

- Multi-vendor environments : Nokia, Cisco, Juniper

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Nokia NRS2 Lab Certification (Mandatory / Highly Preferred)

- Cisco / Juniper Network Specialist Certifications Plus
