Description : We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Director of Quality Assurance who will lead our QA organization to ensure the highest levels of product quality, reliability, and performance across all Movius products and services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong telecom background, a deep understanding of voice call flows and cloud environments, and proven leadership in driving quality excellence across distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Quality Strategy & Vision : Define and execute the QA strategy aligned with product and engineering goals, ensuring scalable and automated quality processes for cloud and telecom platforms.
- Leadership & Team Development : Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing QA organization that includes manual, automation, and performance testing teams.
- Telecom Domain Expertise : Bring strong knowledge of voice, SIP, VoIP, call flows, SMS/MMS, and network testing to ensure exceptional call quality and reliability.
- Cloud & SaaS Quality : Ensure robust QA practices across cloud-based deployments (AWS/Azure) and microservices architectures.
- Quality Governance : Establish standards, metrics, and KPIs to measure product quality and drive continuous improvement across releases.
- Hands-On Quality Oversight : Participate in key testing initiatives, review automation frameworks, and ensure end-to-end validation of voice and messaging solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to identify issues early, prioritize quality improvements, and deliver on-time, high-quality releases.
- Customer-Focused Delivery : Champion customer experience by ensuring every release meets Moviuss reliability and performance expectations.
- Initiative & Ownership : Take the lead on process improvements, introduce new tools, and proactively address quality risks before they impact delivery.
- Communication & Advocacy : Confidently voice quality concerns to leadership, drive consensus, and influence decisions that protect user experience.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
- 18+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
- Background in telecom testing, including voice, messaging, and call flow validation is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or similar).
- Solid understanding of automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Selenium, Python, Postman, REST APIs).
- Proven track record of driving quality culture and leading large, distributed QA teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and release management processes.
- Passion for delivering reliable, scalable, and secure communication experiences.
