Job Title : QA Manual & Automation Tester

Location : GOP Perungalathur Office, Chennai

Work Mode : Work from Office (5 days a week)

Working Hours : 2 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM IST

Role Summary :

We are seeking a skilled QA professional with strong experience in manual and automation testing for Healthcare Provider domain applications, including both custom-built solutions and COTS products. The role involves designing and executing test cases, developing and maintaining automation frameworks, validating data workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform manual testing of UI, API, and backend components for custom-developed and COTS applications in the healthcare domain.

- Manage test data and environments for functional, regression, and integration testing of Web, API, and Azure-integrated applications.

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Playwright and Selenium; leverage AI-based tools to optimize test coverage and defect detection.

- Execute automated test cases and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, including FHIR API validation for healthcare interoperability.

- Ensure proper version control with Git and CI/CD integration.

- Validate SQL-based data workflows, including batch and API-driven processes.

- Document test cases, log defects, and provide detailed root cause analysis.

- Collaborate with developers, BSAs, and QA team members to design test scenarios and ensure comprehensive coverage.

- Support release cycles and production verification activities.

Technical Skills :

- Manual Testing : Functional, regression, UAT, and integration testing for web, API, and Azure-integrated applications.

- Automation Testing : Selenium, Playwright, and other frameworks for functional and regression testing.

- Programming Languages : Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

- API Testing : Postman or similar tools, with hands-on experience in FHIR APIs.

- Database Validation : SQL queries for data integrity checks.

- Version Control & CI/CD : Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps.

Domain Expertise :

- Strong experience in Healthcare Provider domain workflows, including claims processing, eligibility, EHR/EMR systems.

- HIPAA compliance knowledge and experience in testing for data privacy and security standards.

- Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR standards, including FHIR API testing for healthcare data exchange and interoperability.

Soft Skills :

- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile environments.

- Ownership and accountability for deliverables.

- Proactive, self-driven attitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
