Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and maintain test frameworks and automation tools for Android-based automotive infotainment systems.


- Develop and enhance C++ modules and integrate with Android Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) for system-level testing and validation.


- Build and maintain Android test applications using Java and Android SDK for validating Android Automotive features.


- Implement and optimize automated test scripts to validate system performance, stability, and compliance with automotive standards.


- Work closely with Android Framework and HAL teams to validate system components, drivers, and middleware for infotainment systems.


- Develop and execute tests for embedded interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN, ensuring robust communication between software and hardware modules.


- Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and perform debugging using tools like ADB, logcat, and GDB to ensure system stability and reliability.


- Manage source code and automation pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and GitLab CI; ensure continuous integration and delivery of test builds.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, QA engineers, and hardware teams to resolve issues and improve test coverage.


Requirements :

- Need a candidate from the Automotive and Manufacturing industries only.


- Candidate must have a minimum of 2+ years of C++ development experience with exposure to Android's HAL (Android framework).


- Candidate must have experience in Java with Android App development expertise.


- Candidate should have experience in JIRA - Version control systems.


- Candidate should have 1+ years of experience in Android application development.


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.


- 5+ years of experience in developing test frameworks and automation for Android-based infotainment systems.


- Minimum 2+ years of C++ development experience with exposure to Android's HAL.


- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python.


- 1+ years of experience in Android application development.


- Strong understanding of Android Automotive System and Android Framework.


- In-depth knowledge of different Android components, including Services, Activities, Broadcast Receivers, and Content Providers.


- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and RTOS concepts.


- Familiarity with hardware interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, etc.


- Experience with version control systems (e., Git), CI/CD tools (e., Jenkins, GitLab CI), and project management tools (e., JIRA).


- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.


- Mentoring skills to support and guide less experienced team members.


- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and clients
