Morningstar - Senior Scrum Master

Key Responsibilities :

- Agile Leadership & Coaching : Lead, coach, and empower your teams to adopt and optimize our development methods. You'll mentor team members on best engineering practices and delivery methods.

- Team Management : You will manage 4-5 cross-functional teams (engineering, product, and design) and ensure the overall success of multiple initiatives by tracking product and sprint progress and managing dependencies.

- Process & Improvement : You'll drive change in core operational processes, lead all team events and ceremonies, and support continuous improvement through techniques like Story Points and Weighted Shortest Job First.

- Stakeholder Communication : You will effectively communicate progress, measure solutions against objectives, and provide updates to all key stakeholders to ensure project success.

Technical Skills :

- Agile Methodologies : Deep, hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies and planning techniques.

- Project & Workflow Tools : Experience with project management tools, with a preference for Jira Cloud workflows.

- Certifications : Must hold one or more certifications, such as CSM, PSM, or Safe6.

- Development Lifecycle : A solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) procedures to effectively understand and support your teams' needs.

- Estimation Techniques : Proficiency in using estimation techniques like Story Points and Weighted Shortest Job First to support continual improvement.

Experience & Education :

Experience : A minimum of 8 years of total experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master.

Education : A technical degree is required, with a Bachelor of Technology preferred.
