Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.

- Build RESTful APIs and microservices for high-traffic applications.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with Product, QA, Frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.

- Debug production issues and implement long-term solutions.

- Continuously improve system performance and engineering processes.

Required Skills :

- 3-6 years of experience in backend development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Good understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.

- Experience building REST APIs and backend services.

- Good knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.

- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.

- Familiarity with Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure, or Kubernetes is a plus.

- Understanding of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.) is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with scalable, distributed systems.

- Exposure to cloud-based deployments and CI/CD pipelines.

- Prior experience in gaming, fintech, or high-transaction platforms is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
