Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable specifications.
You will work closely with product, engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, gather, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, brainstorming sessions, and process walkthroughs to understand business challenges.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze existing systems, workflows, and data flows to propose improvements.
- Create detailed BRDs, FRDs, SRS documents, user stories, workflows, sequence diagrams, and UML models.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure clarity of requirements and technical feasibility.
- Communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support solution architects and developers in designing scalable, efficient, and robust technical solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, system design reviews, and technical evaluations.
- Provide recommendations on technology, integrations, APIs, system enhancements, and optimization strategies.
- Work in Agile/Scrum teams, participate in sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Validate solutions through functional walkthroughs, UAT coordination, and test case reviews.
- Perform data analysis using SQL, spreadsheets, dashboards, and visualization tools.
- Generate insights, detect anomalies, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Build and maintain reports, KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics as needed.
- Collaborate with QA teams for test planning, test case validation, and requirement traceability.
- Help validate product behavior through UAT and pre-production testing.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality and documentation standards.
Required Skills & Technical Expertise :
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and product development life cycle.
- Hands-on experience in writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Technical expertise in :
SQL for data querying and analysis
API understanding (REST/SOAP), request-response formats, integrations
Exposure to databases, cloud platforms, and modern application architectures
- Experience with tools like :
a. JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps
b. MS Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io for diagrams
c. Excel/Sheets, Power BI, Tableau for analysis and reporting
- Ability to interpret system logs, workflows, and API responses
