Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect with strong expertise in Java, cloud-native architectures, and platform modernization to lead the transformation of enterprise applications into scalable, secure, and high-performing distributed systems.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience designing modern cloud architectures, leading monolith-to-microservices transformations, and building enterprise-grade healthcare or regulated platforms with strong focus on scalability, security, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable, cloud-native architectures using Java and modern cloud platforms.

- Lead application modernization initiatives, including migration from monolithic systems to microservices-based architectures.

- Define architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, and modernization strategies aligned with business goals.

- Build and oversee development of highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure distributed systems.

- Architect and implement backend services using Java 17/21+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

- Design event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka and asynchronous communication patterns.

- Develop and govern API-first architectures with secure and scalable REST APIs.

- Drive containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker, Kubernetes, and container platforms.

- Design and optimize deployment architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

- Implement enterprise security standards including OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), authentication, and authorization frameworks.

- Ensure system performance optimization, resiliency, observability, and disaster recovery planning.

- Guide database architecture decisions across relational and NoSQL platforms.

- Conduct architecture reviews, code quality assessments, and technical risk evaluations.

- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, product, and business teams for solution delivery.

- Mentor development teams and establish coding, architecture, and engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 10+ years of software engineering and architecture experience.

- Proven experience in Technical Architect / Solution Architect roles.

- Strong expertise in Java 17/21+.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

- Strong understanding of distributed systems design and service communication patterns.

- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.

- Experience with at least one major cloud platform : AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems.

- Strong experience designing and consuming REST APIs.

- Expertise in security frameworks including OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and API security.

- Experience with databases such as :

PostgreSQL

Oracle

MongoDB

Cassandra

- Strong understanding of system scalability, resilience, caching, and performance optimization
