Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Functional Consultant to join our HR technology team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion) Payroll module, with hands-on experience in end-to-end implementation, configuration, and post-go-live support.

You will work closely with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll operations, compliance with statutory requirements, and optimal use of Oracle Cloud capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the implementation and configuration of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll and related modules (Core HR, Absence, Time & Labor).

- Analyze business requirements, design functional solutions, and translate them into system configurations.

- Configure payroll elements, earnings, deductions, fast formulas, costing, and other payroll components.

- Ensure alignment of payroll setup with statutory regulations, local tax laws, and compliance requirements.

- Collaborate with technical teams to design and validate integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and external systems (e.g., Finance, Time & Attendance, Benefits).

- Develop and execute test scripts for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Support data migration activities including validation and reconciliation.

- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for payroll operations.

- Perform system audits and identify process improvement opportunities.

- Guide HR and Payroll teams in adopting best practices and maximizing Oracle Cloud functionality.

- Prepare and maintain functional design documents (FDs), configuration workbooks, and training materials.

- Liaise with Oracle Support for SR management and system updates.

- Work collaboratively with global and regional HR/IT stakeholders to deliver consistent payroll experiences.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or related field.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Consultant, with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations in Payroll.

- Deep knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll setup and business processes.

- Proficiency in Fast Formulas, Payroll Flows, Costing, and RetroPay.

- Experience with Core HR, Absence Management, and Time & Labor modules.

- Strong understanding of statutory payroll compliance, tax rules, and legislative updates (for relevant geographies)
