About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Oracle APEX Developer to join our application development team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying web-based enterprise applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).

You will collaborate closely with business analysts, database administrators, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performing, and user-friendly solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and application development best practices, with a keen eye for performance, usability, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain custom Oracle APEX applications that meet business requirements.

- Build responsive, intuitive web interfaces using APEX components, themes, templates, and plug-ins.

- Develop interactive reports, dashboards, and forms for data visualization and management.

- Implement business logic and data validation using PL/SQL and JavaScript.

- Integrate APEX applications with other systems through RESTful APIs and web services.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness across environments.

- Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL code for stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.

- Design and maintain database schemas, indexes, and relationships.

- Perform data modeling and ensure referential integrity and normalization.

- Work closely with DBAs for performance tuning, backup strategies, and security compliance.

- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.

- Perform unit testing, troubleshoot bugs, and resolve production issues promptly.

- Manage application versioning, migration, and deployment across environments (DEV, UAT, PROD).

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.

- Provide technical support and enhancements for existing APEX applications.

- Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployments.

- Stay up to date with new APEX features, Oracle tools, and web development trends.

- Contribute to improving development processes, reusability, and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 37 years of experience in Oracle APEX development.

- Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle APEX (v19.x or above).

- Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development (functions, packages, triggers, views).

- Experience in database design, data modeling, and query optimization.

- Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery for APEX customization.

- Familiarity with RESTful Web Services and JSON/XML integrations.

- Knowledge of Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is an advantage.

- Exposure to version control systems (Git, SVN) and CI/CD practices.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
