About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and innovative IBM Watson AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using the IBM Watson platform and associated technologies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and conversational AI, with a strong understanding of enterprise-grade AI solution architecture.

You will work closely with business, data science, and technology teams to deliver intelligent automation, cognitive insights, and conversational AI applications that drive business transformation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement AI and NLP solutions using IBM Watson services such as Watson Assistant, Discovery, Speech to Text, Text to Speech, and Watson Natural Language Understanding (NLU).

- Build and maintain chatbots, virtual assistants, and AI-driven automation workflows tailored to business needs.

- Integrate Watson AI solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, and third-party applications.

- Collaborate with data scientists and developers to train and fine-tune machine learning and NLP models.

- Design conversational flows, intents, and entities to enhance chatbot performance and user experience.

- Analyze and optimize AI model performance, improving accuracy, relevance, and contextual understanding.

- Develop scalable architectures using IBM Cloud, Watson Studio, and Watson Machine Learning.

- Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and recommend best practices for AI/ML adoption.

- Support proof-of-concept (PoC) and pilot implementations for new AI initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

- 4 to 8 years of experience in AI / NLP engineering, with at least 2 years working specifically on IBM Watson solutions.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.

- Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP), text analytics, and conversational design.

- Experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Data, Watson Studio, Watson Assistant, and Discovery.

- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web service integration.

- Experience deploying AI models into production environments and managing performance.
