Key Responsibilities :

Application Development & Integration :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices.

- Build event-driven systems using Apache Kafka for real-time data processing and integration.

- Develop APIs and services to support business-critical applications and data flows.

- Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to define technical solutions.

- Participate in system design reviews and architectural discussions.

Kafka Development & Streaming :

- Design and implement Kafka-based messaging and streaming solutions.

- Develop Kafka producers, consumers, streams, and connectors.

- Configure and manage Kafka topics, partitions, replication strategies, and consumer groups.

- Implement real-time event processing and data integration workflows.

- Monitor and optimize Kafka cluster performance, throughput, and reliability.

- Troubleshoot messaging, latency, and scalability issues.

MongoDB Development :

- Design and optimize MongoDB collections, schemas, and indexing strategies.

- Develop efficient queries, aggregations, and data access patterns.

- Manage data modeling for high-volume and high-availability environments.

- Implement replication, sharding, backup, and recovery strategies.

- Monitor database performance and resolve bottlenecks.

Performance & Scalability :

- Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable solutions.

- Optimize application performance, database operations, and message processing workflows.

- Conduct performance testing and capacity planning for large-scale systems.

- Implement caching and data optimization strategies where required.

DevOps & Cloud Integration :

- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

- Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Deploy and manage applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Ensure application security, monitoring, and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 6 to 11 years of software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB and Apache Kafka.

- Experience developing distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Python, Node.js, or similar backend technologies.

- Strong understanding of NoSQL database concepts and data modeling.

- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
