Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled MongoDB Developer to design, develop, and optimize scalable database solutions for modern applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MongoDB development, including data modeling, ingestion pipelines, and query optimization. This role requires hands-on experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, integrating data systems, and ensuring high performance and reliability of MongoDB-based applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Database Design & Development :

- Design, develop, and implement scalable MongoDB database architectures, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.

- Create and maintain efficient data models, collections, indexes, and schemas to support application requirements.

- Develop and optimize MongoDB queries, aggregations, and operations for high-volume and real-time applications.

Data Integration & Processing :

- Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines for importing and transforming data into MongoDB.

- Integrate MongoDB with external systems, tools, and third-party services using APIs and connectors.

- Work closely with developers and data engineers to ensure seamless integration of database components within applications.

Testing & Performance Optimization :

- Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing to validate data flows, query efficiency, and system reliability.

- Troubleshoot database performance issues and implement improvements related to indexing, sharding, replication, and workload distribution.

Code Quality & Best Practices :

- Participate in code and database design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, security guidelines, and scalability standards.

- Ensure proper documentation of schemas, data flows, and database configurations.

- Maintain high standards for secure database development, including access control, encryption, and auditing.

Collaboration & Support :

- Work collaboratively with application developers, solution architects, and business stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.

- Provide support for ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and operational issues related to MongoDB databases.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 47 years of proven experience as a MongoDB Developer.

- Strong hands-on experience in MongoDB data modeling, ingestion, schema design, indexing, and query optimization.

- Proficiency in writing complex queries and aggregation pipelines for high-performance applications.

- Experience integrating MongoDB with APIs, services, and external systems.

- Solid understanding of database performance tuning, scaling, replication, and sharding concepts.

- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing for database-driven applications.

- Strong knowledge of database security practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and communication abilities.
