About the Role :

We are currently seeking a Senior MongoDB Developer / Data Modeler for a strategic consulting engagement. This role is advisory in nature and focuses on evaluating MongoDBs suitability for a client's backend system transformation, with a strong emphasis on data modeling, architecture guidance, and decision-making support.

Note : This is a non-coding role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Evaluate MongoDBs suitability for the clients backend architecture needs.

- Provide advisory support on optimal data modeling and database architecture.

- Challenge and validate technical decisions from an architectural perspective.

- Recommend hybrid or alternative solutions (e.g., MongoDB with Snowflake or RDBMS).

- Advise on trade-offs between NoSQL and RDBMS technologies.

- Collaborate with stakeholders across domains, especially in manufacturing and supply chain contexts.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in MongoDB architecture and advanced data modeling.

- Strong background in consulting or advisory roles (non-development focused).

- Expertise in hybrid data ecosystems (MongoDB + Snowflake/RDBMS).

- Deep understanding of large-scale data modeling and database design.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in manufacturing or supply chain systems (e.g., BOM data structures).

- Ability to translate technical decisions into business-oriented outcomes.

- Strategic mindset with the ability to advise both business and technical teams.
