About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Hardware & Networking Engineer to join our IT team.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure, advanced troubleshooting, and leading hardware/network initiatives.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our on-premise and cloud environments while also mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities :

Infrastructure Management & Projects :

- Lead planning, installation, and configuration of hardware and network equipment (servers, switches, routers, firewalls, thin clients, etc.) for both on-premise and cloud setups.

- Maintain and optimize existing LAN/WAN network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

- Collaborate with senior IT leadership to design and implement infrastructure upgrades and new technology rollouts.

- Oversee IT asset lifecycle management including procurement, deployment, tracking, and decommissioning.

- Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP.

- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement and enforce IT security policies, best practices, and compliance standards.

- Perform periodic security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation activities.

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls and VPN configurations.

- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in networking concepts, protocols, and technologies : TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, LAN/WAN.

- Hands-on experience with Linux Administration, Windows Server, and desktop environments.

- Expertise in network troubleshooting, hardware installation, and performance tuning.

- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Strong analytical and advanced problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.

Good to Have :

- Experience with automation/configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)

- Knowledge of ITSM processes and ticketing systems.

- Exposure to monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana)
