Modulr - Engineering Manager - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

Key Responsibilities :

- Oversee the use of deep learning algorithms for a range of applications, such as CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers.

- Effectively coordinate cross-functional teams while overseeing the AI project lifecycle from inception to delivery.

- Lead the creation, advancement, and implementation of cutting-edge AI technologies, making sure they complement corporate objectives.

- Mentor junior team members to foster growth and ensure quality deliverables.

Requirements :

- Proven experience in managing AI projects and leading technical teams.

- Strong knowledge of deep learning architectures, particularly CNNs and Transformers.

- Experience in team leadership, mentoring, and fostering a positive work culture.

Technical Skills :

- Experience in people management

- Expertise in data processing, ML systems, MLOps, and infrastructure

- 5+ years with cloud tech , DevOps/MLOps.

- Strong skills in Python, SQL, and data modeling (DBT is a plus)

- Familiar with Spark, Airflow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, Keras

- Experience leading engineering teams in ML adoption

Preferred Skills :

- Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams.

- Contributions to open-source AI projects or a portfolio demonstrating impactful work.
