Job Description :

In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications for LG WebOS and Samsung Tizen Smart TV platforms, delivering seamless user experiences for live TV, VOD, and IPTV solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Integrate REST APIs for EPG, user authentication, and content delivery (HLS, MPEG-DASH).

- Build intuitive UI components and ensure compatibility with TV remote interactions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features like favorite channels, recommendation systems, and settings menus.

- Debug and optimize applications for performance, security, and playback quality (e.g., Shaka Player, video buffering).

- Publish and manage apps through LG and Samsung app stores, ensuring compliance with platform guidelines.

- Work with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.

- Stay updated on WebOS and Tizen SDK advancements and industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS for Smart TV app development.

- Hands-on experience with WebOS SDK, Tizen Studio, and IDEs like Visual Studio Code.

- Familiarity with REST API integration (JSON, XML) and streaming protocols (HLS, MPEG-DASH).

- Knowledge of UI/UX design for TV platforms and remote navigation.

Preferred Skills :

- Understanding of video playback technologies (e.g., Shaka Player) and monetization (SVOD, AVOD).

- Familiarity with DRM and CDN integrations

Soft Skills :

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
