Job Description :

Role & Responsibilities :

- Contribute across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

- Build scalable backend services using Java / Java EE technologies.

- Develop APIs for UPI integrations (e.g., PSP, TPAP, bank integrations, NPCI switch connectivity).

- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.

- Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.

- Ensure applications comply with UPI/NPCI guidelines, security, and regulatory standards.

- Work on real-time transaction processing systems with strong focus on reliability and latency.

- Prepare and manage releases of software components.

- Convert business requirements into technical solutions.

- Support continuous improvement through research of new technologies and tools.

- Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews.

- Maintain test environments and implement unit/integration testing.

- Identify system bottlenecks and optimize performance.

- Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Bachelors degree in computer science / IT / Electronics or equivalent.

- 6+ years of experience in Java backend development.

- Strong expertise in:

1. Core Java, Collections Framework

2. OOPS concepts and design patterns

3. Java EE (JSP, Servlets)

- Experience with frameworks like:

1. Spring / Spring Boot (preferred) or Struts

- Hands-on experience in:

1. RESTful APIs / Web Services (SOAP & REST)

2. XML and JSON processing

- Database knowledge:

1. MySQL / PostgreSQL

2. ORM frameworks like Hibernate / JPA

- Experience with application servers like Apache Tomcat.

- Strong understanding of multithreading and concurrency (important for UPI systems).

- Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit.

- UPI / Payments Domain Expertise (Mandatory or Strongly Preferred):

1. Hands-on experience with UPI integrations (PSP/TPAP/Banks)

2. Understanding of NPCI specifications and UPI architecture
