Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with strong hands-on experience in mobile application testing, including debugging with Charles Proxy and ADB commands. The ideal candidate will be proactive, capable of leading a QA team of 6 members, and experienced in setting up and managing QA processes. Candidates with a banking domain background (lending/loans) are preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of 6 QA engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to timelines.

- Perform mobile application testing (Android & iOS) with expertise in Charles Proxy, ADB commands, and debugging tools.

- Set up and optimize QA processes, test strategies, and best practices for mobile app testing.

- Actively participate in bug triage and effectively defend bugs with developers when issues are valid.

- Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify, debug, and resolve issues efficiently.

- Prepare test plans, test cases, and QA reports, ensuring comprehensive coverage and high-quality releases.

- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, automation strategy (if applicable), and team efficiency.

- Ensure proper documentation and reporting for defects, test results, and process compliance.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 79 years of total experience with at least 23 years as a Test Lead/Team Lead.

- Strong hands-on experience in mobile application testing (manual and debugging).

- Proficiency in Charles Proxy, ADB commands, and mobile debugging tools.

- Experience in setting up QA processes and strategies for mobile application testing.

- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and release cycles.

- Excellent skills in defect triage, bug reporting, and defending bugs with developers.

- Experience managing a team of 58 QA engineers, with proven leadership and mentoring abilities.

- Preferred experience in banking domain applications (lending, loans).

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and proactive leadership skills.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to mobile test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, Postman, or similar QA tools
