Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Test Engineer to manage and execute testing activities for Collections-related applications.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in mobile, UI, API, and automation testing, with a focus on improving test efficiency through automation and ensuring high-quality deliveries across Agile and DevOps environments.

The ideal candidate will work closely with development and business teams to ensure transparency, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and manage end-to-end testing activities for allocated Collections projects, including planning, execution, automation, and reporting.

- Define and implement test strategies, approaches, and quality gates to ensure robust delivery outcomes.

- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks, scripts, and execution pipelines, applying industry best practices.

- Perform hands-on test execution and automation across Mobile (iOS & Android), UI, API, and integration layers.

- Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to identify test scope, risks, dependencies, and appropriate testing approaches.

- Work closely with development teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication, early defect detection, and delivery transparency.

- Drive test efficiency improvements through automation, tooling optimization, and process enhancements.

- Identify Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) such as performance, scalability, reliability, and security, and ensure they are tested and tracked to closure.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Take ownership of testing deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in IT software testing with strong exposure to manual and automated testing.

- Proven experience in Mobile Testing using Appium for both iOS and Android (AOS) platforms.

- Hands-on experience in UI, API, and Mobile application testing, including end-to-end and regression testing.

- Strong expertise in test automation tools and platforms such as Selenium, Appium, BrowserStack, and GitHub for version control.

- Excellent programming skills in Core Java, with exposure to Telemetry/Tag implementation (HSBC experience preferred).

- Working knowledge of performance testing tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter.

- Solid understanding of software development and testing life cycles, quality standards, and test design techniques across Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

- Good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, including automated test execution as part of build and deployment workflows.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure and manage competing priorities.

- Demonstrated ownership mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies in testing processes and proactively implement improvements.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
