Job Description : Mobile QA Automation Engineer

Experience : 6+ Years (Minimum 5+ years in QA, with at least 2 years in mobile automation)

Location : Remote

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong hands-on expertise in Appium, XCUITest, Espresso (mobile automation tools).

- Proficiency in writing automation scripts using JavaScript, Java, or Python.

- Experience testing iOS and Android customer-facing applications.

- Familiarity with REST API testing (Postman or similar).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins).

- Exposure to cloud-based device testing platforms such as AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab.

- Working knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) for test data validation.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with the ability to think from the end users perspective.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test cases and strategies for iOS and Android customer-facing apps.

- Write clean, maintainable automation code in JavaScript, Java, or Python.

- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of mobile apps.

- Conduct REST API testing using tools like Postman or similar platforms.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or Jenkins.

- Utilize cloud-based device testing platforms like AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, and Firebase Test Lab for cross-device testing.

- Validate test data and results by querying databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues by analyzing test failures and logs, always considering the end-user experience.

- Document test cases, results, and report defects clearly to the development team.
