Mobile Lead - iOS Platform

About the Role :

We are seeking a talented and experienced iOS Mobile Lead to spearhead the development of our iOS applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in iOS development, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, performant, and user-friendly mobile apps. You will lead a team of iOS developers, collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams, and play a key role in shaping our mobile strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of iOS applications from concept to deployment on the App Store.

- Manage and mentor a team of iOS developers, fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous learning.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to define app features and ensure seamless integration.

- Architect scalable and maintainable iOS app solutions using best practices and modern frameworks.

- Review code, conduct technical interviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards and security guidelines.

- Optimize app performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement automated testing strategies.

- Stay current with the latest iOS trends, SDKs, tools, and best practices, and evangelize adoption within the team.

- Define and enforce mobile development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.

- Ensure compliance with App Store guidelines and manage the submission and approval process.

- Work closely with QA teams to ensure rigorous testing and high-quality releases.

- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and iteratively improve the app experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 6+ years of professional experience in iOS development with a proven track record of leading teams.

- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.

- Extensive experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and networking libraries (Alamofire, URLSession).

- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and integration of third-party libraries and SDKs.

- Expertise in architecture patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.

- Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines and App Store submission process.

- Experience with performance optimization, memory management, and multithreading.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks (XCTest, Fastlane).

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and drive team productivity.
