About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Appium and Java to design, develop, and execute automated test frameworks for Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality releases through robust test automation, CI/CD integration, and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium for Android and iOS applications.

- Develop scalable and maintainable test scripts in Java integrated with TestNG or JUnit.

- Implement and manage automation builds using Maven for project and dependency management.

- Execute automated and manual tests to ensure software quality across mobile devices.

- Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify, analyze, and resolve bugs and issues early in the development cycle.

- Conduct testing on real devices and simulators, analyzing performance, functionality, and compatibility.

- Maintain detailed documentation of automation processes, test results, and defect reports.

- Stay updated with evolving mobile automation tools and best practices to continuously improve framework efficiency.

- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and test strategy discussions for new features and releases.

Required Skillsets :

- Strong hands-on experience in Java programming and Appium automation.

- Expertise in Android and iOS testing, including understanding of APKs/IPAs and mobile architecture.

- Proficiency with Maven, TestNG, JUnit, and Git version control.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Good knowledge of REST API testing and integration with automation frameworks.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for mobile test environments.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setup.

- Attention to detail with a strong focus on product quality and user experience.

Good to Have :

- Experience with cloud-based mobile testing tools like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm.

- Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.

- Basic understanding of performance or security testing for mobile applications.
