Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications.

- Design scalable and reusable mobile automation frameworks.

- Create and execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.

- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot application defects and automation failures.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Work closely with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

- Perform API testing and validate backend services where required.

- Execute tests across real devices, emulators, and simulators.

- Maintain test documentation, automation reports, and defect tracking.

- Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, execution speed, and automation processes.

Required Skills :

- 3+ years of experience in software testing with strong hands-on mobile automation experience.

- Experience with Appium, Selenium, or equivalent mobile automation tools.

- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Kotlin.

- Hands-on experience with Android and/or iOS application testing.

- Knowledge of mobile UI automation, device capabilities, gestures, permissions, and application lifecycle.

- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST-assured.

- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.

- Experience with Android Studio and Xcode.

- Knowledge of Appium 2.x and cloud device platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

- Experience with Docker and cloud-based testing environments.

- Familiarity with performance, security, or accessibility testing.

- Experience with mobile application release and deployment processes.
