We are looking for an experienced Mobile Application Test Engineer with 3 - 5 years of experience in mobile application testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in testing Android/iOS applications and should have worked on mobile automation frameworks. Candidates with prior experience in the Retail or E-commerce domain will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of mobile applications.

- Test Android and/or iOS applications across multiple devices and OS versions.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications.

- Perform mobile application automation using tools such as Appium.

- Design, execute, and maintain automation test suites.

- Identify, document, track, and validate defects using tools such as Jira.

- Analyze test results and provide detailed defect reports.

- Perform API testing and validate backend responses where required.

- Execute regression testing for new application releases and enhancements.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other QA engineers.

- Participate in test planning, test case preparation, execution, and reporting.

- Validate application performance, usability, compatibility, and functionality across different mobile devices.

- Contribute to improving test automation coverage and overall QA processes.

- Support CI/CD-based automation execution and reporting where applicable.

Required Skills :

- 3 - 5 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.

- Strong hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing.

- Experience testing Android and/or iOS applications.

- Hands-on experience with Mobile Automation Testing.

- Strong experience with Appium or similar mobile automation tools.

- Good knowledge of manual and automation testing concepts.

- Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.

- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.

- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.

- Good understanding of API testing and REST APIs.

- Basic-to-good programming knowledge in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.

- Experience with Git and basic CI/CD concepts is preferred.

Domain Experience :

- Prior experience in Retail or E-commerce applications is mandatory/preferred.

- Experience testing applications involving customer journeys, product catalogues, shopping carts, payments, orders, delivery, offers, and loyalty features will be an added advantage.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Appium and Selenium.

- Experience with Android Studio / Xcode.

- Experience with mobile device farms such as BrowserStack or similar platforms.

- Experience with API automation tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

- Exposure to Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
