Role Overview :

We are looking for a hands-on ML / AI Applied Engineer to join a high-impact early-stage startup and work across the end-to-end AI development lifecycle. This role involves building real-world AI solutions-from dataset creation and model development to deep analysis, visualization, and deployment for enterprise clients.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to translate complex problems into scalable AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and optimize machine learning and AI models for real-world use cases.

- Create, curate, clean, and preprocess large datasets from structured and unstructured sources.

- Perform feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and hyperparameter tuning.

- Conduct deep analysis of model performance and present insights using effective data visualizations.

- Deploy and monitor ML models in production environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.

- Continuously research and experiment with new AI/ML techniques and tools.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4- 5 years of hands-on experience in Applied ML / AI development.

- Strong programming skills in Python.

- Solid experience with ML frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.

- Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and data analysis.

- Experience with data curation, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

- Exposure to data mining, web scraping, or large-scale data collection techniques.

- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for ML workloads.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.

Nice to Have :

- Experience deploying ML models using APIs or containerized environments.

- Exposure to MLOps tools, pipelines, or monitoring frameworks.

- Experience working with enterprise clients or production-scale AI systems.

- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
