Position Overview :

We are looking for a Network Engineer LAN to join our global infrastructure and operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex enterprise network environments, specifically within large-scale SaaS and data center ecosystems.

You will play a key role in ensuring optimal network performance, security, and reliability for mission-critical systems. This position requires deep technical proficiency in LAN technologies, Cisco Nexus platforms, routing and switching, load balancing, and firewall management, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN and data center network components to ensure maximum uptime and performance.

- Partner with Network Architects and senior engineers to optimize network design, scalability, and reliability.

- Handle and resolve customer connectivity issues and provide technical support for internal and external stakeholders.

- Plan, execute, and document network changes, upgrades, and configurations while adhering to change management processes.

- Lead or contribute to network automation projects that streamline repetitive operational tasks.

- Maintain and update network documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration standards, and operational runbooks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and ensure compliance with internal security and operational policies.

- Initiate and drive network operations improvement projects aimed at enhancing performance and resilience.

Key Qualifications :

- Experience : 35 years of experience supporting and managing medium-to-large enterprise networks.

Technical Expertise :

- Network Security : Palo Alto Firewalls (preferred) or equivalent.

- Load Balancing : F5 or equivalent solutions.

- Routing Protocols : MPLS, OSPF, and BGP.

- Switching : Cisco Nexus (9k/7k/5k/2k series) and Cisco IOS.

- Strong understanding of data center network architecture, including DC fabric, interoffice routing, and site-to-site VPNs.

- Demonstrated proficiency in LAN/WAN design, routing protocols, and troubleshooting network performance issues.

- Experience with monitoring, automation, and performance tuning tools and techniques.

- Ability to analyze, document, and communicate network configurations and operational processes effectively.

- Familiarity with scripting or automation for network tasks (Python, Ansible, etc.) is an advantage.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE) are a plus.
