Job Title : WLAN Automation Test Engineer

Employment Type : Full-time

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop automation scripts for WLAN testing using Python, Pytest, or Robot Framework.

- Automate functional, performance, and security tests for wireless networks (Wi-Fi 802.11 standards).

- Validate client connectivity, roaming, DHCP, and IP assignment across multiple SSIDs and APs.

- Perform throughput, latency, and packet loss testing under various traffic conditions.

- Automate WPA2/WPA3 authentication, encryption checks, and certificate-based security tests.

- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) for continuous testing.

- Analyze logs, generate reports, and ensure test coverage for regression cycles.

- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve WLAN issues.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Python scripting and automation frameworks (Pytest, Robot Framework).

- Hands-on with Wi-Fi protocols (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and WLAN controllers.

- Knowledge of packet analysis tools (Wireshark/Tshark) and traffic generators (iperf).

- Familiarity with Scapy for packet crafting and network simulation.

- Experience with Linux environments, shell scripting, and networking fundamentals.

- Understanding of CI/CD tools and version control (Git).

Good to Have :

- Exposure to cloud-managed WLAN solutions (Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus).

- Experience in performance benchmarking and stress testing.

- Knowledge of security protocols and certificate management.

Education :

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
