Job Title : Datacom Developer

Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Datacom Developer to design, develop, and maintain data communication systems and networking protocols. The ideal candidate will have strong programming expertise and a deep understanding of networking fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement data communication systems and protocols.

- Develop and maintain networking features (Layer 2/Layer 3) such as routing and switching.

- Work on protocols like BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP, and SDN concepts.

- Troubleshoot and resolve network and data communication issues.

- Optimize network performance and ensure reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and testing.

- Document system design, development, and maintenance procedures.

Mandatory Skills :

- C programming (strong proficiency)

- Data Structures (in-depth knowledge)

- Networking protocols (L2/L3 : BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, IPv4/IPv6)

- Linux/Unix systems and OS concepts (IPC, multithreading, sockets)

Additional Skills :

- SDN technologies (OpenFlow, DPDK, FASTPATH) preferred

- Problem-solving and debugging skills

- Familiarity with Firmware ,Linux Kernel Forwarding, and networking stacks

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.

- 38 years of experience in network protocol development.
