Role : OIC / VBCS Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced OIC / VBCS Developer with 5+ years of experience to be a key technical resource focused on building robust integrations and custom user interfaces within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem. This role requires expert, hands-on proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), coupled with strong Java and JavaScript skills. The Developer will play a crucial part in implementing cloud security models, utilizing Oracle Analytics, and ensuring seamless data flow within a SaaS environment.

Core Responsibilities :

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Development :

- Design, develop, and deploy complex integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including orchestrations, synchronous and asynchronous patterns, and scheduled processes.

- Configure and manage OIC connections to various endpoints, including SaaS applications (e.g., Oracle Fusion, ERP Cloud), on-premises systems, and external third-party APIs.

- Implement data transformations and mappings using OIC's visual mapper and XSLT, ensuring data integrity and quality.

Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) & UI Development :

- Design and develop dynamic, modern web and mobile applications using Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).

- Utilize JavaScript scripting (ECMAScript standards) within VBCS for advanced UI behavior, data manipulation, and client-side logic.

- Integrate VBCS applications securely with OIC integrations and external REST/SOAP services.

Oracle Cloud Ecosystem and Data Management :

- Leverage a strong understanding of the Cloud (SaaS) Model and how OIC/VBCS interact with Oracle Fusion Applications.

- Work with Oracle Analytics and OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) for reporting and data extraction needs.

- Utilize ADFDI (Application Development Framework Desktop Integration) and FBDI (File-Based Data Import) templates for bulk data migration and management into Oracle Fusion applications.

- Experience working with and connecting applications to an ATP database (Autonomous Transaction Processing).

Security, Customization, and DevOps :

- Implement and enforce Oracle Cloud Security best practices, managing Users, Roles, and securing access via Tiles, etc.

- Perform Oracle Cloud Personalizations using Page Composer to customize standard Fusion application user interfaces.

- Utilize Java skills for complex custom logic development or extension points outside of pure VBCS/OIC environments.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated deployment of OIC and VBCS artifacts.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : 5+ years of professional development experience.

Integration : Expert proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

UI/UX : Expert proficiency in VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) and JavaScript scripting.

Cloud Model : Strong understanding of the Oracle Cloud (SaaS) Model and its architecture.

Data Tools : Hands-on experience with ADFDI, FBDI, and ATP database.

Preferred Skills :

- Strong Java programming skills.

- Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline implementation.

- Knowledge of OTBI and Oracle Analytics for reporting.

- Direct experience managing Oracle Cloud Security (User, Roles, Tiles) and Page Composer Personalizations.
